Islamedia - Presiden Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY) atas nama Pemerintah Indonesia menganugerahkan gelar pahlawan kepada tujuh tokoh nasional. Selain itu, Presiden juga menganugerahkan Bintang Mahaputera Adi Pradana dan penghargaan lainnya kepada para budayawan dan seniman di Istana Negara, Jakarta, Selasa (8/11).
Tujuh tokoh nasional yang mendapat gelar pahlawan nasional adalah Sjafruddin Prawiranegara, Prof Dr Haji Abdul Malik Karim Amrullah (Buya Hamka), Ki Sarmidi Mangunsarkoro, KH Idham Chalid, Mr I Gusti Ketut Puja, Sri Susuhunan Paku Buwono X, dan Ignatius Joseph Kasimo. Penghargaan itu diterima oleh masing-masing ahli warisnya.
Penganugerahan gelar pahlawan bagi Sri Susuhunan Paku Buwono X diterima langsung Dr BRA Mooryati Soedibyo sebagai cucu Paku Buwono X, dan Prof Gunawan Sumodiningrat (sebagai cicit).
“Gelar kehormatan ini sangat disyukuri dan dibanggakan oleh kerabat dan sentono dalem Karaton Surakarta Hadiningrat, masyarakat Surakarta serta Jawa Tengah pada umumnya,” kata Mooryati Soedibyo.
Menurut dia, setidaknya ada lima alasan yang membuat Paku Buwono X pantas dianggap sebagai pahlawan nasional. Antara lain, peran aktif dalam perjuangan pergerakan nasional, pelopor pembangunan sosial ekonomi, pendidikan rakyat, pembentukan jati diri bangsa, dan berperan dalam integrasi nasional.
“Gelar sebagai pahlawan nasional dari pemerintah kepada Paku Buwono X melahirkan kewajiban kita bersama sebagai generasi muda untuk menggali dan mempelajari apa yang sudah dikerjakan serta diperbuat oleh Paku Buwono X,” katanya.
Secara terpisah, tokoh Kalimantan Selatan menyambut sukacita pengangkatan KH Dr Idham Chalid menjadi salah seorang tokoh yang dianugerahi gelar pahlawan nasional oleh Presiden.
“Kita sangat bersyukur dan bangga, akhirnya harapan seluruh warga Kalsel agar Bapak Idham Chalid menjadi pahlawan nasional terkabul,” kata tokoh Kalsel HM Said.
Mantan Gubernur Kalsel itu mengatakan, dengan ditetapkannya Idham Chalid sebagai pahlawan nasional, maka pahlawan nasional dari Kalsel menjadi tiga orang.
Ketiga pahlawan nasional asal Kalsel yang banyak berkecimpung pada perjuangan nasional tersebut adalalah Pangeran Antasari, Hasan Basri, dan terakhir Idham Chalid.
Menurut Said, mantan Ketua Pengurus Besar Nahdlatul Ulama (NU) dan Ketua MPR/DPR itu sangat layak mendapatkan gelar tersebut karena jasa-jasanya terhadap perjuangan nasional baik di dalam negeri maupun luar negeri.
Sementara itu, anugerah Bintang Mahaputera Adi Pradana diserahkan kepada Sultan Sulaiman Syaiful Alamsyah dari Sumatera Utara.
Dalam rangka peringatan Hari Pahlawan 2011, pemerintah juga menganugerahkan penghargaan kepada para budayawan dan seniman. Mereka yang menerima penghargaan itu adalah Benyamin Sueb, Hasbullah Parindurie, Harijadi Soemadidjaja, Gondo Durasim, Huriah Adam, Idrus Tintin, Kwee Tek Hoay, Sigit Sukasman, Gi Tik Swan atau KRT Hardjonagoro, dan Gedong Bagus Oka.
Juru Bicara Presiden Julian Aldrin Pasha mengatakan, penganugerahan bintang jasa dan gelar pahlawan itu diatur sesuai dengan UU Nomor 20 Tahun 2009 dan juga Peraturan Pemerintah Nomor 1 Tahun 2010.
